Overview:
Our client who are a global organisation who specialise in the design and manufacture of retail fixtures and fittings are looking to join their team to work with clients to design store fit outs.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications to the customers needs
- Using the Product Lifecycle Management system to complete drawings
- Attend client meetings
- Liaise with project managers and manufacturing team throughout the product prototype process
- Produce detailed reports from meetings regarding key points
- Specify best materials for the project with regards to project
- Liaise with clients regarding specific requirements
- Creating installation manuals
- Attending client meetings
- Update planning schedules
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years working in a similar positions
- Experience on designing products
- Driving license
- Confidence to speak to clients
- Degree in relevant field
- Experience on AutoCAD/Solidworks/Adobe Suite
- Experience on SketchUp
- Experience on a PLM system
- Team player

Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field
- 2:1 or above desirable but not essential
Knowledge
- Computer literate – Microsoft
- Knowledge of Solidworks
- Strong technical design skills
- PLM System
- Knowledge of Sketch Up
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite and AutoCAD.
Experience
- Experience working in an engineering environment with a good understanding of the design and construction process;
- Experience of successfully designing and developing products.
- Experience of building rapport
- Experience presenting ideas
