Life Claims Auditor / Contract / Fully remote
My client, a global insurance company, are looking for an experienced claims auditor to join them on a contract basis to assist with audits across group and individual claims processes. As a Life Claims Auditor, you will feedback results of audits, provide coaching dependant on audit outcomes and assist with reinsurer audits. You may also be required to assess life claims across the product range.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Audit the group and individual claims process within set timescales in line with agreed processes
- Ensure reporting is carried out to operational and senior management alongside reinsurers
- Feedback results of audit to support internal developments and claims processes and to ensure that advice is given to team members based on results
- Support risk and audit manager with claims cases
- Act within agreed SLA’s
- Assess life claims when required including but not limited to: Life, critical illness, TPD and income protection
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of claims in the following: Life, Critical illness and income protection
- Previous experience in assessing complex claims across all life product lines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships
- Strong IT and numerical skills with the ability to produce and understand reports
- Able to proactively manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Be a strong team player and able to offer support to other members of the team

- £370pd umbrella
