Service Charge Analyst / Contract / Croydon
Overview:
One of the UK’s largest housing providers is seeking multiple Service Charge Analysts to assist with service charge actuals and the budget setting process.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with service charge in social housing however this is not essential.
The overall purpose of the Service Charge Analyst is to produce detailed analysis of actual expenditure and estimate future costs.
Role & Responsibilities of the Service Charge Analyst:
- Extract expenditure from accounting system
- Accurately calculate actualised service charges
- Ensure compliance with leases and legislation
- Prepare and review invoices for external audits
- Respond to queries
- Work with internal colleagues to resolve any discrepancies
Essential Skills & Experience of the Service Charge Analyst:
- Experience working with accounting systems
- Experience within a Housing Association is desirable
- Excellent IT skills, including using Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Word
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
