Management Accountant – City Of London (Hybrid) – Up to 45K
The Role

My client is on the hunt for a Management Accountant to help in the preparation of their monthly accounts, processing queries made including invoice corrections, re-allocation of payments including payments and refunds. Your Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts for presentation and review with the finance manager and the CFO
- Discuss all variances between actual, budget and forecast with budget holders
- Become the main point of contact for the finance team for all finance system improvements
- Check and record staff expense claims to ensure they are authorized for payment and are in accordance with the company policy
- Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT return
- To maintain the weekly bank reconciliation
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled every month
About you
- Two years spent in a similar role
- Working knowledge of accounting systems
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge
- Working toward professional qualification e.g ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT
