Claims Executive – Commercial Insurance
£45,000 | Southampton (Hybrid) | Permanent
We’re working with a leading insurance company looking for an experienced Claims Executive to join their team in Southampton. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys managing complex commercial claims from start to finish.
The Role:
- Handle a wide range of commercial insurance claims, including larger and more complex cases.
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and third parties to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide mentoring to junior colleagues and help drive continuous improvement across the claims function.
- Identify trends, analyse claims data, and support clients with risk mitigation strategies.
- Attend site visits and produce clear, well-presented reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong commercial insurance and claims knowledge (brokerage experience essential).
- Excellent client relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Confident working independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
- Compassionate and professional when supporting clients during challenging situations.
- GCSEs in English & Maths (A-levels/CII/CILA desirable).
