Margaret Hignell

After completing her Association of Accounting Technicians course, Margaret worked in several accountancy roles before moving into recruitment in 2006.  She started as a Trainee Consultant doing Office Support Recruitment in London City, working her way up to manage a team of 9, before moving agencies four years later and developing her career within the London & Kent market across permanent and temporary business support roles.

Looking for a new challenge, Margaret formed Insight Select with Stuart and Chris, and will grow the team, client and candidate base and develop it into a market-leading business support recruitment consultancy.

I worked for Margaret at her previous recruitment firm, sourcing candidates for office-based roles across the South East. I learnt a lot from Margaret as she is an extremely knowledgeable and successful individual and has a vast amount of experience working in recruitment. I was inspired by Margaret’s ability to build long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates. Margaret was always positive, calm, and professional. She made it her priority to deliver a high-quality service to all clients and went above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
